Cliched World

all the ppl out there ... seeing this ... my name is "Rahul Taneja" alias "tanny"

I'm a oxymoron... a perfect case of dual personalities ... sometimes bubbly, unrelentless, talkative, fun-loving, enthusiastic person while at the other (shd i mention MOST) times a mellowed, down-to-earth and a simple person who's always facing worst famine of words :-)

Here u'll find the worst combo of both my split-sides in the most cliched manner u can possibly imagine :-)

Recalling ... Miles to go before i sleep !

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know.

His house is in the village, though;

He will not see me stopping here

To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer

To stop without a farmhouse near

Between the woods and frozen lake

The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake

To ask if there is some mistake.

The only other sound's the sweep

Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,

But I have promises to keep,

And miles to go before I sleep,

And miles to go before I sleep.

Its relieving when someone agrees to one's thought process and validates the same. It's a big confidence booster.

Re-affirmation makes a difference !

Itni shakti humein dena data ...

Itni shakti humein dena daata
Mann ka vishwas kamzor ho naa
Hum chalein nek rastein pe
Humse bhool kar bhi koi bhool ho naa...

Har taraf zulm hai bebasi hai
Sehma-sehma-saa har admi hai
Paap ka bojh badhta hi jaaye
Jaane kaise ye dharti thami hai
Bojh mamta ka tu ye utha le
Teri rachna ka ye ant ho naa...
Hum chalein...

Door agyaan ke ho andhere
Tu humein gyan ki roshni de
Har burai se bachke rahein hum
Jitani bhi de, bhali zindagi de
Bair ho na kisi ka kisi se
Bhavna mann mein badle ki ho naa...
Hum chalein...

Survival ?

Trapped in a room which is contracting slowly, it’s an uncomfortable feeling of claustrophobia which is kicking in fast and thick. Eyes fail to see far. It’s all hazy, black and dingy. Hands are frantically groping for ways out in the dark. Each possible opening with its own gush of winds seem to be another trap in the making. Walls are closing in. Time is running out, patience is wearing thin, fear is building up, anxiety is in the air, with un-certainty all around. Survival is the biggest word looming right at the face with a huge question mark following close !

Patience ... !

Inapt people can be such a pain at times ! What so ever amount of patience can be little to deal with them.

Sometimes one gets at the receiving end of the same and then its all LOST.

Ardh Satya ....

Chakravyuh mein ghusne se pehle,
kaun tha mein aur kaisa tha,
yeh mujhe yaad hi na rahega.

Chakravyuh mein ghusne ke baad,

mere aur chakravyuh ke beech,
sirf ek jaanleva nikat’ta thi,
iska mujhe pata hi na chalega.

Chakravyuh se nikalne ke baad,
main mukt ho jaoon bhale hi,
phir bhi chakravyuh ki rachna mein
farq hi na padega.

Marun ya maarun,

maara jaoon ya jaan se maardun.
iska faisla kabhi na ho paayega.

Soya hua aadmi jab

neend se uthkar chalna shuru karta hai,
tab sapnon ka sansar use,
dobara dikh hi na paayega.

Us roshni mein jo nirnay ki roshni hai

sab kuchh s’maan hoga kya?
Ek palde mein napunsakta,
ek palde mein paurush,
aur theek taraazu ke kaante par
Ardh Satya.

No Risk .. No Fun !

What's the excitement in living a boring sedentary life,
get out of the slow and steady mode,
hop on for an adventurous roller coaster ride,
swinging up n down, swooshing left n right,
making way through the rough,
take some RISK, and have some FUN :-)

living dangerously !

Moral story - The Carpenter

The Carpenter

An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his employer- contractor of his plans to leave the house- building business and live a more leisurely life with his wife enjoying his extended family. He would miss the paycheck, but he needed to retire. They could get by.

The contractor was sorry to see his good worker go and asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favor. The carpenter said yes, but in time it was easy to see that his heart was not in his work. He resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end a dedicated career.

When the carpenter finished his work the employer came to inspect the house. He handed the front-door key to the carpenter. This is your house, he said, my gift to you.

The carpenter was shocked! What a shame!

If he had only known he was building his own, he would have done it all so differently. We do the most of the things having such thoughts in our mind. But we only realize when it comes back to us. So it is with us.

We build our lives, a day at a time, often putting less than our best into the building. Then with a shock we realize we have to live in the house that we have built.

If we could do it over, we'd do it much differently. But we cannot go back.

You are the carpenter. Each day you hammer a nail, place a board, or erect a wall. Life is a do-it-yourself project, someone has said, "Your attitudes and the choices you make today, build the house you live in tomorrow."

Build wisely! What we do is what we get and what we have is what we did.
